The Boateng Education Foundation Team has embarked on a project to build a School in Ghana for the unprilvileged students. A GoFund Me page was set up to help raise fund for this noble cause.
We decided to embark on this project so as to give back to the society. Our founder recall growing up in Ghana and studying under very deplorable conditions. In fact, his first school was built with mud and roofed with branches. During the rainy season, classes are virtually interrupted and schools are eventually closed. This sad situation significantly affected teaching and learning in schools.
Our Founder Dr. Boateng had the rare opportunity to immigrate to the United States where he studied for his masters and PhD in Education. Dr. Boateng’s experience teaching and working in school districts in the United States motivated his desire to mobilize resources and establish a school that will provide quality education for kids in the Danfa and surrounding areas in the Greater-Accra region of Ghana. A recent visit by the team to Ghana re- echoed the fact that education should be improved. A land was acquired and work on the school building project commenced.
The project is still ongoing and we need your support to finish our building and provide a conducive environment for teaching and learning to commence.
